We run Joint Clinics in paraproteinaemic neuropathies twice a month. One focuses on IgM-associated diseases such as anti-MAG neuropathies, CANOMAD, AL amyloidosis, cryoglobulinaemic diseases and the other focuses on POEMS syndrome. The POEMS Clinic includes Haematology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and a Research Fellow whose PhD is looking at the pathology behind the neuropathy of POEMS syndrome. We are collecting biological samples for both patient groups and have established Registries for both groups of patients. We have the support of Clinical Oncology, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacology, Neurorehabilitation, Andrology and Reproductive Medicine as well as specialist Orthopaedics who offer tendon transfer surgery and psychological support and complementary therapies to support our patients.
