An educational online program on Castleman Disease organized by EHA and ERN-EuroBloodNet will start in January 2022!

EHA & ERN-EuroBloodNet Spotlight on Castleman Disease is an accredited European online educational program targeting health professionals organized by EHA and ERN-EuroBloodNet.

The program consists of a cycle of 4 Webinars focused on Castleman Disease developed in collaboration with three experts, all members of the EHA and the ERN-EuroBloodNet: Prof Oksenhendler Eric, Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris, Hôpital Saint-Louis, Prof Kai Hübel, Universitätsklinikum Köln, and Prof Simone Ferrero, AOU S.Luigi Gonzaga.

The main objective of this program is to disseminate very innovative topics among haematologists, internists, paediatricians, or other health care providers interested in the topic in order to give visibility to the last cutting-edge advances in the field of Castleman Disease. Indeed, Castleman Disease requires specific educational knowledge from a clinical, pathological, etiological and phenotypic point of view due to the low prevalence of the disease and multi-level clinical manifestations. So, it provides an in-depth knowledge on Castleman Disease requiring better awareness among the medical and scientific community for achieving the best healthcare provision to patients. This objective responds also to the need to create a repository of comprehensive educational material on all types of Castleman Disease. Webinars will be recorded and the videos will be integrated in the EHA and ERN-EuroBloodNet e-learning environments.

This program will be accredited with Continuing Medical Education Points delivered by the European Board of Accreditation in Hematology. It will be delivered to participants to the whole cycle of online webinars.
