“Mental Health and Quality of Life in Sickle Cell Disease” at ASCAT 2026

Since 2019, ERN-EuroBloodNet has been committed to promoting educational initiatives for people living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) alongside major international scientific congresses. These activities aim to empower patients by strengthening their knowledge, advocacy skills, and active involvement in the SCD community, while fostering meaningful dialogue between patients, healthcare professionals, and researchers.

In partnership with RADeep and the Academy for Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia (ASCAT), ERN-EuroBloodNet has organised dedicated educational sessions for people living with SCD as part of the ASCAT Congress programme. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to learn from experts, exchange experiences with peers, and discuss the challenges and priorities that matter most to the SCD community.
