Prof. Dr. Arnaud Jaccard is head of the Hematology Department at the University Hospital of Limoges, France and Professor of Hematology at Limoges University of Medicine since 2007.

He is head of the French referral center for AL amyloidosis and other diseases due to monoclonal immunoglobulin deposits since 2007 and member of the CNRS UMR 7276 / INSERM U126, Limoges University.

Prof. Jaccard received the MD at Paris University School of Medicine in 1991 and the PhD at Limoges University in 2007.

He was assistant Professor at Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris between 1991 and 1994 in the Department of Clinical Immunology.

Research interests including the pathogenesis, natural history, diagnosis and treatment of monoclonal gammopathies of clinical significance (MGCS), with particular focus on AL amyloidosis and POEMS syndrome. He is the principal investigator for several clinical trials and research projects in this field.
