ERN-EuroBlooNet Patients Assistance Infopoint
One of the main roles of the ERN-EuroBloodNet is to help patients navigate the healthcare social systems in Europe by offering a mediation among National Contact Points for Cross-Border Care and hospital administration and by providing those three kinds of information to patients:
- Information about how to deal with Cross Border Health Procedures
- Information about healthcare providers' expertise
- Information about treatments access

The ERN-EuroBloodNet has played a key role since 2017 in assisting RHD patients that want to benefit from a temporary cross-border health right in accessing healthcare services abroad according to the application of the Regulations (EC) 883/2004 and 987/2009 and the Directive 2011/EU/24.
