How to use CPMS 2.0?

The guidance below will help you get access and use essential features of CPMS step by step. In addition, note that the European Commission (DG SANTÉ) provides these CPMS manuals and training videos, also available inside the CPMS platform.

Create your EU Login account.
Request access to CPMS 2.0.
Wait for activation (usually within 24 hours on working days).

How do I enrol a patient in CPMS 2.0?

Before you start, prepare those two documents:

Mandatory: The signed patient consent form. Here is an English template, but you can use another version of your own healthcare center. The signed patient consent form must be kept within your healthcare center system and not be uploaded in CPMS 2.0. You will find the latest version by the European Commission (DG SANTÉ) and in all european languages in the CPMS 2.0 Patient consent kit for EU HCPs.zip.
Optional: The completed case submission form. Here is a generic ERN-EuroBloodNet template. If you participate in a ERN-EuroBloodNet virtual board, check out this page and use the relevant case submission template.

Then log in to CPMS, click Add new patient, select Enrol patient, fill in all the requested information, then add the completed case submission form in the CPMS patient's files.

How do I upload files and images?

Go to Patient Record, find the patient, open the Files section, click Upload and drag in your file.

⚠️ Protect patient privacy. All files shared in CPMS 2.0 must be anonymised by you before uploading. Remove names, dates of birth, hospital or record numbers and any other identifying details.

How do I schedule a meeting in CPMS 2.0?

Any member can schedule a meeting at any stage. Click Meetings and enter a title, date, time and duration. To join, participants simply click the Join meeting button.
