Pietro Quaglino born 1968, dermatologist, is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Turin Medical School. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in 2013. He is now Director of the Residency Programme in Dermatology at the University of Turin.
His main field of interest for clinical and research activities are cutaneous lymphoma, melanoma, and immune dermatology. His experience in the field of cutaneous lymphoma ranges from the early diagnosis to the treatment of the advanced phase disease. He is the principal investigator of several clinical trials in melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma. He is past-chairman of the EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Task Force and has been member of the Board Directors of the ISCL (International Society for Cutaneous Lymphoma) board member of the GIPMe (Gruppo Italiano Polidisciplinare sul Melanoma), board member and treasurer since 2017 of the IMI (Italian Melanoma Intergroup). He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers.Prof. Quaglino is Assistant Editor of the Giornale Italiano di Dermatologia e Venereologia, reviewer of international journals on dermatology and referee for ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes).
Evangelia Papadavid is a Full Professor in Dermatology-Venereology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School and Chair 2nd Department of Dermatology-Venereology, Attikon General Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School. The 2nd Department of Dermatology of The National and Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens has national accreditation as a Centre of Excellence for RARE DISEASES - Cutaneous Lymphomas. She obtained the PhD title in Cutaneous oncology at the National and Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens in 1996. Since then her main research interests are cutaneous lymphomas, skin oncology, inflammatory skin diseases psoriasis- atopic dermatitis - immunobullous disease and comorbidities. Prof Papadavid performs clinical and translational research studies in national and international level. She participates as scientific committee in several grants, PROCLIPI international consortium for CTCL and is a national PI for EORTC clinical studies in CTCL.
Prof Papadavid has been heading the cutaneous lymphomas and psoriasis clinics ATTIKON Hospital since 2011 and worked at the Cutaneous Lymphomas Clinic, 1st Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Athens University Medical School, A Syggros Hospital. She performs clinical and translational research in CTCL as well as in psoriasis. Since 2011 leads the clinic of Autoimmune Bullous Diseases clinic with a specialist in oral diseases and performs clinical studies related to management. In 2018 she organized a specialist clinic in Atopic dermatitis with an allergy specialist. Prof Papadavid is the author of 115 publications and her work was awarded by Institution of National Scholarships (1992-1996), 1st Prize in the European Congress for PDT, 2014, Nice, France, 1st Prize in the European Congress for Cutaneous Lymphomas (2018) and 3 first prizes in national meetings. Since 2005 she has been a member of EORTC cutaneous lymphomas task force, with a function of a Board Member and Treasurer in 2017-2020 and a Secretary of the EORTC CLTF for the years 2020-2023. Since 2019 Prof Papadavid has been also a board member of the ISCL.
