He joined the Angiology-Hemostasis division of the University Hospitals of Geneva where is responsible in care of patients with bleeding disorders. His research interests are concentrated on congenital fibrinogen deficiencies, with a focus on epidemiology, genetics, diagnosis, fibrin clot properties, and genotype-phenotype correlation. He has contributed to the publication of landmark papers on congenital fibrinogen disorder, international guidelines, and is the principal investigator of several international clinical trials on fibrinogen.
