Speakers: Marie Beylot-Barry, Anne Pham-Ledard
Prof Marie Beylot-Barry is the head of Department of Dermatology in the University Hospital of Bordeaux. She is a member in the INSERM unit of Oncogenesis of Cutaneous Lymphomas team. On this theme alone, she has produced more than 180 of her current 324 publications (Scopus index h = 45), led a national trial on lenalidomide treatment in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, conducted several national studies such as recently on cutaneous lymphomas developed in patients treated by biologics agents, and developed national and international collaborations. She is the General Secretary of the French Group for the Study of Cutaneous Lymphomas. She has twice coordinated a European course on cutaneous lymphomas with the support of the EADV. She is involved in teaching Dermatology, with a strong focus on surgical dermatology and was President of French College of teachers in dermatology. Within the French Society of Dermatology, which she is currently president, she has been for several years member of the Board of Directors, member then president of the Scientific Council, and involved in the Fund of research of the French Society of Dermatology.
Prof. Dr Anne Pham-Ledard has completed here medical school in Nantes, France, then moved to Bordeaux for Residency in 2005. During her training, she has done a Master Degree and a PhD in the research team working on cutaneous lymphomas oncogenesis and directed by JP Merlio and M Beylot-Barry as mentor. Then she moved to Southampton, UK, in 2017 during one year in a post-doc position where she worked in the lab in a project on modellisation of cutaneous B-cell lymphomas, microenvironment and immunotherapy in mouse model. Prof Pham-Ledard is currently working as a Professor in Dermatology since 2018, and her field of expertise is cutaneous lymphomas.
