A number of new treatments for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) are currently being tested under the scope of multiple clinical trials across the world. However due to the lack of harmonization in the clinical outcomes measured by each study, the achievement of comparable and firm conclusions about which treatments are optimal becomes challenging.
In order to remove these barriers, Harmony Alliance is working to develop a core outcome set (COS) through the launch of a Delphi survey in order to allow the definition of a set of outcomes to be collected agreeded by stakeholders. The establishment of COS will harmonize the results and improve the NHL’s clinical management while may serve as a guide for researchers to stablish upcoming clinical trials.
The Harmony Alliance counts with the previous experience of the ongoing pilot study for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The objective for the near future is to etablish a COS for each one of the other hematological malignancies under the scope of Harmony Alliance.
