The European Hematology Association (EHA) Annual Congress took place last 14-17 June 2018 in Stockholm with more than 11,000 attendees from all fields of hematology for the promotion of career development and research, harmonization of hematology education, and advocate for hematologists and hematology.
Taking advantage of the biggest congress on hematology in Europe, ERN-EuroBloodNet members representatives and patients' advocates attending the congress met together during an informal interactive session held on Friday 15th. The main results obtained during the first year of implementation of the network were provided through a brief presentation as well as by means of some material produced for dissemination purposes. In addition, a general overview of the main actions currently undergoing during this second year of the ERN was provided encouraging the audience to take part on the specific activities they are willing to participate.
Also a poster tittled "ERN-EuroBloodNet: The European Reference Network on Rare Hematological Diseases. 1st Year of implementation" was presented during the poster session on Friday.
