The ERN-EuroBloodNet coordination team has been expanded with the new incorporation of an ERN manager in Barcelona!

Alanna Irving has joined the ERN-EuroBloodNet coordination team, based at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital.

We are very glad to announce that Alanna Irving has joined the coordination team as the ERN-EuroBloodNet manager, based on Vall d'Hebron University Hospital together with Maria del Mar Mañú (Scientific Director & ENROL Coordinator), Victoria Gutiérrez (Scientific Writer & Digital Activities Manager) and Maria Rodríguez (Dissemination Manager).

“My name is Alanna Irving, and I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge (UK), and a Masters in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain). My professional background is in local government and international governmental and non-governmental organisations, and I have experience working on the implementation and support of EU-funded projects concerning economic development and cultural integration. I am excited to move into the healthcare sector and help ensure that ERN-EuroBloodNet achieves its goal of improving knowledge and management of rare blood diseases, and ultimately providing better outcomes for patients.”
