Applications are now open for the 2026 EURORDIS Open Academy Schools, a face-to-face programme offering high-quality training for rare disease patient advocates and early-career researchers (PhD candidates and up to two years post-PhD). It will take place in Barcelona from 25-28 May 2026.
The Open Academy Schools 2026 will bring together two unique training programmes for rare disease advocates and researchers.
Two programmes are available:
- Open Academy School on Medicines Research & Development
- Open Academy School on Scientific Innovation & Translational Research
Dates: 25-28 May 2026, Barcelona.
Applications are open until 17 October 2025
These schools provide invaluable knowledge and skills to drive forward rare disease research and advocacy.
