Sant Joan de Déu launches new Pediatric Hematology Training on 20 February 2026!
On 20 February 2026, healthcare professionals are invited to a hybrid training session focused on quaternary prevention and ethical clinical practice.
The training "Menos es más: Prevención cuaternaria en Hematología Pediátrica", organised by Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona, promotes a more ethical and patient-centred approach in pediatric hematology. Through real clinical cases, participants learn when to act and when to hold back, applying the "less is more" principle to improve patient safety and quality of life.
The 6.5-hour course explores over-intervention, appropriate use of diagnostics and transfusions, genetics, pre-analytical processes, and ethical decision-making. It is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to refine their critical thinking and promote responsible, humane pediatric care.
This Spanish-language training will take place on 20 February 2026, both in-person and online
