Showcase your research, policy work, or advocacy initiative to Europe's rare disease community at the European Conference on Rare Diseases & Orphan Products (ECRD) - Europe's largest, patient-led rare disease event.
ECRD 2026 welcomes abstracts exploring therapies development and access, diagnosis and prevention, access to specialised care, mental wellbeing and holistic care, health technology assessments, and the social sciences and humanities, as well as open-topic submissions that bring new ideas and perspectives.
Open to patient groups, academics, healthcare professionals and all other interested parties having conducted research or studies on rare diseases or public health projects.
All accepted posters will be featured in a virtual exhibition, with the possibility for on-site display at the conference.
Deadline: 6 March 2026
Abstract length: 200-300 words
Don't forget to save the date! The next ECRD will be held on 3 & 4 June 2026 in Prague and will be titled "Rare Diseases in a Changing & Competitive Europe: Shaping policies to address the unmet needs of people living with rare diseases". Public registration for ECRD 2026 will open in December 2025.
