HemaSphere publishes high-impact basic, translational, and clinical studies that drive scientific progress across Europe and beyond.
Hemoglobinopathies in European Liaison of Medicine and Science (HELIOS) is an action aiming to build a network of excellence to overcome the challenge that healthcare and research are facing towards the global spread of hemoglobinopathies, such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia syndromes.
This publication was developed on behalf of the HELIOS project, one of the collaborative research projects of ERN-EuroBloodNet, aimed at strengthening European cooperation and advancing knowledge in rare hematological disorders.
