The Eurordis Open Academy is launching a new edition of its Data, Ethics and AI training, designed to support rare disease advocates in navigating data-driven research in Europe.
This hybrid programme will combine:
Developed in partnership with the World Duchenne Organization and the Duchenne Data Foundation under ERDERA - the European Rare Diseases Research Alliance, this second edition responds to the growing need for patient advocates to understand data management, ethical considerations and the role of AI in rare disease research, and to engage meaningfully with researchers and decision-makers.
The Open Academy x ERDERA accompanies patient advocates by offering rare-disease specific comprehensive training programmes that empower advocates with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to to engage with different stakeholders as equal partners.
