The European Commission launched on 13 April 2026 the 2026 Call for Affiliated Partners within the European Reference Networks (ERNs), aiming to strengthen collaboration and improve access to highly specialised care for patients with rare and complex diseases across Europe.
The deadline to apply is 1 September 2026 and the elegible countries for the ERN-EuroBloodNet are Croatia, Latvia, Norway and Romania.
What are Affiliated Partners?
Affiliated Partners are healthcare providers or institutions designated at national level to collaborate with ERNs. They include:
Associated National Centres: specialised healthcare providers contributing clinical expertise
National Coordination Hubs: organisations linking national healthcare systems with ERNs
Who can apply?
The call is open to selected countries that are not yet fully represented across all ERNs. For ERN-EuroBloodNet: Croatia, Latvia, Norway and Romania. Each eligible country may submit up to three applications per missing ERN.
