Every year on 23 July, the global community marks Castleman Disease Awareness Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of Castleman disease, a rare and complex lymphoproliferative disorder, and to highlight the experiences of those living with the condition.
To support this year's campaign, ERN-EuroBloodNet has developed a new information document that explains what Castleman disease is and the challenges patients may face throughout their journey. Created for the community, the resource aims to improve understanding of the disease and encourage earlier recognition.
The document was reviewed by the Association of French Patients with Castleman Disease, ERN-EuroBloodNet ePAG representative Natacha BolaƱos, and ERN-EuroBloodNet expert Prof. Pier Luigi Zinzani, ensuring that it combines clinical expertise with the lived experience of people affected by Castleman disease.
Together, we can improve understanding and support everyone affected by this rare disease.
