Join the IRDiRC Diagnostics Scientific Committee (DSC)

The International Rare Diseases Research Consortium (IRDiRC) has launched a call for new members to join its Diagnostics Scientific Committee (DSC), inviting applications from two experts in the rare disease field:
- Rare disease diagnostic scientist;
- Patient advocate with expertise in access to diagnosis.
The committee brings together international specialists in clinical genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, molecular diagnostics, and biochemistry to advance research and innovation in rare disease diagnosis.
Interested candidates are invited to send their resume, biosketch and letter of motivation to scientific.secretariat(ELIMINAR)@irdirc.org before 1st September 2026. This position is on voluntary basis.
The IRDiRC Diagnostics Scientific Committee plays a key role in supporting the consortium's goal of shortening the diagnostic journey for people living with rare diseases.
