Join the rare disease community in Barcelona for a unique learning and networking experience bringing together patient advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry representatives and other rare disease stakeholders.
The Open Academy Schools 2027 will offer one week of face-to-face training, with two parallel Schools combining dedicated and joint sessions:
- Medicines Research & Development School
- Scientific Innovation & Translation School
Applications are open until 16th October! Participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge, develop practical skills and build confidence to strengthen their work in medicines development and pre-clinical research.
During the Schools, participants will:
- Learn from experts in the rare disease field
- Connect with peers from across Europe
- Strengthen their knowledge and skills in rare disease research and medicines development
- Exchange experiences with patient representatives and researchers through dedicated and joint sessions
