Remi Favier is a medical doctor specialized in pediatric hematology in particular pathologies of hemostasis as coagulation and inherited platelet disorders. He worked in the Department of hemtatology at the Armand Trousseau children Hospital from 1979. In 2005 with Drs Paquita and Alan Nurden he founded the french reference center for inherited platelet disorders. He collaborates with Dr Rigouzzo on the different clinical problems induced by the management of pregnent women with inherited and functional platelet disorders from many years. His scientific work is performed at Villejuif in the group of the Inserm unit 1287 directed by Drs Hana Raslova and William Vainchencker.

Agnes Rigouzzo is an anesthesiology/intensive care specialist at Armand-Trousseau Mother and Children University Hospital, Paris, France and oversees the Obstetrics and Gynecology Anesthesia Unit at the hospital. She studied at the Faculty of Medicine at Paris Sorbonne University. Dr. Rigouzzo has published on anesthesia/ intensive care topics withinpediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, including studies on early detection and treatment of coagulopathy in PPH, management of constitutional thrombocytopenia in pregnancy, different anesthetic regimens and treatment of pre-eclampsia. She is a member of France's National Expert Committee on Maternal Mortality (CNEMM).
