Session 11: Women with Glanzmann thrombasthenia – management of abnormal uterine bleeding and pregnancy (maternal and fetal aspects)

Speakers: Roseline d'Oiron

Dr. Roseline d'Oiron is currently a Medical Director at the Reference Centre for Haemophilia and Rare Congenital Bleeding Disorders, and member of the HITh UMR_S1176 Inserm unit, at APHP Université Paris Saclay, Hôpital Bicêtre, 94270 Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France.

She graduated as a medical doctor from UFR Broussais-Hôtel-Dieu, University Paris VI, and completed her speciality training with master's degrees in haematology, immunology, immunopathology, and transfusion medicine from UFR Saint-Antoine, University Paris VI.

Her research interests are principally in the area of haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, congenital platelet diseases and rare bleeding disorders in both children and adults, especially regarding women and girls with bleeding disorders, new therapies, issues in carriers of haemophilia and Glanzmann's thrombasthenia.

She is the current elected president of the steering committee of the national FranceCoag registry on bleeding disorders and also vice-chair of the board of PedNet registry.

She is also a former elected member of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD) Executive Committee.
